Adelaide Petrographic Laboratories originally traded as Pontifex and Associates in eastern Adelaide, South Australia. Under guidance of Ian Pontifex the laboratory ran for 25 years. As a technician, George Morgan bought the laboratory from Pontifex and it now trades as Adelaide Petrographic Laboratories with over 35 years of combined experience making petrographic sections.
Adelaide Petrographic Laboratories makes a range of prepared microscopy products, including thin sections and polished thin sections.
We prepare samples for a range of microscopy including transmitted and reflected light, microprobe and other electron microscopy.
Adelaide Petrographic Laboratories is located in Stepney, Adelaide. We are about 10 minutes from the city by car.
